At Farmhouse Leone we make you an offer of pure pleasure with all the comforts in one of the areas more reminiscent of Sicily: we share with you our most precious experiences. Taking a walk with us in the fields and surrounding area you can learn so much about the nature, plants and herbs of Sicily.

Here is a fusion of the activities that we carry out in which you can take part, according to the seasons of the year:

• taking care of grape-vines, grape harvest, wine production; our grapevines are Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Cricket, Chardonnay, Catarratto, Moscato di Noto, Cabernet Sauvignon
• preparation of bread with natural yeast (in Sicilian “criscenti”)
• olive harvest
• preparation of cheeses, mozzarella, ricotta
• carob beans harvest
• taking care of the garden and fruit trees
• preparation of the tomato extract and dried tomatoes
• taking care of the animals: sheep, rabbits, black Nebrodi pig, girgentana goat (garrison Slow Food Sicily), hens, donkeys… and even an ostrich!
• milking of the cows plowing, sowing, thresh
